Hi,

We have installed a RUT955 device with a server connected on the LAN listening on ports 22, 80 and 443. If I connect my laptop to the LAN I am able to access the server via all 3 ports.

To connect to the server remotely I am using OpenVPN from my laptop to the RUT955 device however I am unable to connect to the server over ports 80 and 443 (webpage spins and fails to connect). If I connect via port 22 this works fine so is only an issue with the webserver traffic.

I have made sure all 3 ports are open on the RUT Firewall and tried the following link but unsuccessful. https://community.teltonika-networks.com/6938/port-forwarding

I have used wireshark and can see I am getting a response from the webserver (negotiating keys) but it fails to connect.

As a workaround I have enabled RMS Connect (Remote HTTP) and this works successfully but I need to be able to connect to the webpage directly from my laptop when on the VPN.

Is there any advice on what configuration is required please?

Thanks

Hi,

Are you able con reach internal webservers of your RUT device in Ports 80, 443 and 22 without conflict from the vpn?

Please download and send me a troubleshoot file in a private message. Also, download TCPdump package  from Services > Package manager,  then connect via SSH to the RUT device and execute the following command: tcpdump -n port 80

Try to connect to port 80 on server and share captured results as well.
