Question

Hello. I try to use VRRP option with two routers (RUTX11 as master with ip 192.168.1.1 and RUTX09 as backup with ip 192.168.1.2) for reserving internet. Connection scheme: Each router have a sim card with internet access, routers are connected between each other by LAN ports and my laptop (IP 192.168.1.100 and GW 192.168.1.253) connect to lan port of RUTX11. Connection scheme repeat alternative topology including ip addresses like in https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_VRRP_configuration

Traceroute to 8.8.8.8 show that route goes through 192.168.1.1 and when i remove sim card from RUTX11 it still goes through 192.168.1.1. Internet access goes down and don't transit to RUTX09, reserving don't work. What to do in this situation?

May i know what is the firmware on the devices.

Have you tried to use different firmware version or if you are already on latest firmware was it working before on any older firmware version?

Yes, i used the latest FW RUTX_R_00.07.01.4 only for both routers. I try to use vrrp for the first time. Could you advice another FW for this case?
