Configure PPTP on TRB140

Hello,

I want to configure a PPTP VPN on a TRB140, but I can't connect on it once the server configuration is created, following the attached tutorial: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/TRB140_VPN#PPTP

Would you be able to bring me some help ?

Hello,

Could you provide more details: are you not able to access the gateway's Web interface or does the VPN tunnel fail to establish?

Below are instructions to set up the simplest PPTP VPN configuration settings. Keep in mind that the server device needs to have a public IP.

Server:

  1. Enable PPTP Server.
  2. Add Username / Password
  3. Leave everything else default.
  4. Save

Client:

  1. Enable PPTP Client.
  2. Enter server's public IP.
  3. Enter Username / Password.
  4. Save

The problem occurs when I try to connect from my computer, the VPN tunnel fails.

I don't know if this is due to my PPTP configuration on Windows or maybe a problem on the Firewall...

Have you tried disabling the firewall?

Edit : It's working now, the issue was on the configuration of the PPTP's properties on Windows.
