I have a standalone RUTX12 fitted with 2 sim cards to provide wifi for 50 users in a field.

I have switched from failover mode to load balanced. but still traffic is only going via primary sim, spent 3 hours researching on here but not getting any closer to make it work.

Does anyone have a step by step guide to help me configure this to work as intended please?

Hello Rosemorran,

RUTX12 can support load balance between two modem, for troubleshoot.

1. Make sure you are in Advance mode first.

2. check weather both sim card have internet connectivity or not.

3. Also make sure failover setting is turned off.

4. For configuration please follow link

and : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgF1LZXSsvs

5. If you are trying to use failover and Load balancing at same time it does not support that.

6. load balancing does not split the packets of the traffic. It splits services and applications.
