I am trying to change the default LAN IP settings on the X11.

I would like to set it to: 172.16.1.1 Can you help with each setting.

Protocol: Static ????

IPv4 address: 172.16.1.1

IPv4 netmask: 255.255.255.0

IPv4 gateway: ???? 172.16.1.1 ??

IPv4 Broadcast: ????? 172.16.1.255 ???

DNS servers: ?????  172.16.1.1 ??? 8.8.8.8 ??? or will will I need to find ISP provider DNS???

Hello,

Go to Network->Interfaces->Lan use the pen to edit it and set all the values there as listed: protocol Static, IPv4 address 172.16.1.1, netmask 255.255.255.0, let IPv4 gateway and IPv4 broadcast empty, and add your external DNS server here 8.8.8.8 but not 172.16.1.1.

Save&Apply when done.

Perfect, I have set these but settings still show old IP settings?? Do I need to reboot?
