We have a RUT240 which we have used for nearly 4 weeks and had really good connections speeds (4-5 bars on router) but yesterday and today for now apparent reason (router is in identical location to previously) we are now only getting 2 bars and it is almost unusable.  Is there anything to suggest why these speeds have slowed down now or anything we can do to help speed it up

Hello,

This is not normal behavior of the device, thus I would like you to answer a few questions:

  • Could you check and post your signal quality parameters: signal strength, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR? You can view them by accessing the router's WebUI and going to Status -> Network -> Mobile.
  • What firmware version is your device using? You can view it at the top right corner of the router's WebUI.
  • Did you change any settings in the device's configuration?
  • Have you tried to restart the device or restore factory settings?
  • One more thing to try is to change currently used LTE band. More details on how to do it are provided in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAkjQ6a2qdc.

Best regards,
