Good day,

I have a problem with a RUT 360 with the firmware RUT36X_R_00.07.01.4 from 02/25/2022.

I would like to switch the WLAN on and off via Modbus TCP. The connection to the device via Modbus is not a problem. I can switch off the WLAN via Modbus but not switch it on again.

To test I switched the mobile network on and off. This works without any problems. The reboot command also works.

Does anyone have the same problem and can point me to a solution?

I found the error myself.

The description of the registers is wrong.

WiFi on is 0 and WiFi off is 1.

Switching on and off now works. However, after the router has run for a certain amount of time, the WLAN can only be switched off and not switched on again. In this case only a reboot helps.

What can be the reason?

Hello,

Could you try opening a separate SSH window, enter command logread -f and try switching Wi - Fi on again to see if any messages are spawned in the logs?
