Hello.

I want to setup a simply connection between two buildings with rut240 4g modem over internet. I have tried to use PPTP VPN. I followed the instruction in manual and the wicki-site. But I cant connect between the routers. I think I have to set up routing and firewall rules, but I don know how to do it right. The Hvac-controller and PC should communicate with modbus TCP, I also want to connect to the Hvac-controllers webserver on port 80.

Hello, in this situation, when you have a public ip, using a VPN will only make sense for encrypting traffic.

I would configure RUT240 (ip 79.138.167.99) as MODBUS Master (https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Modbus#Modbus_TCP_Master) - to receive data from the controller and send it by Data to Server (https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Data_to_Server).

to access the WebUI HVAC controller, you just need to forward any external port (example 8888) to port 80 to the ip address of the controller.
