Hello,

I have Teltonica router RUT 955 with this firmware version:

Current Firmware Information

Firmware version RUT9XX_R_00.02.419
Firmware build date 2016-06-15, 14:08:52
Kernel version 3.10.36 

I need to upgrade it, but I'm afraid it will  stop working or some functionalities will stop.

Can you recommend me the steps to successfully upgrade to the highest possible firmware version? The router is in a key position and must not stop working for more than 1 hour.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching to Teltonika.

First you will need to download the latest legacy firmware file from this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/wikibase/images/1/13/RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6_WEBUI.bin.

Next you will need to perform bootloader menu procedure. The procedure is described in this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu.

Keep in mind that there have been many developments since your used firmware version and you will lose your current configuration during the update.
