RUT950 (FW RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.7) is OpenVPN server (public static IP; virtual address 10.1.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0, TUN-mode)

and there are two TLS clients:

client801 virtual local endpoint 10.1.0.5, virtual remote endpoint 10.1.0.6, LAN 192.168.230.0 255.255.255.0

client802 virtual local endpoint 10.1.0.7, virtual remote endpoint 10.1.0.8, LAN 192.168.232.0 255.255.255.0

This kind of setting works perfectly with FW RUT9XX_R_00.06.05.3

OpenVPN server is connected (virtual address 10.1.0.2). Client802 is connected, but it's virtual address is 10.1.0.6 instead of 10.1.0.7?

Ping virtual address 10.1.0.6 is working, but cant't ping client802 LAN 192.168.232.11 or 10.1.0.7 (RUT240, FW RUT240_R_01.14.5).

Client801 is not connected (no need at the moment). From logs I found the following:

Mon May  9 16:26:27 2022 daemon.notice openvpn(server_vesvpn)[10102]: Client802/91.129.98.153 MULTI_sva: pool returned IPv4=10.1.0.6, IPv6=(Not enabled)

Mon May  9 16:26:27 2022 daemon.notice openvpn(server_vesvpn)[10102]: Client802/91.129.98.153 MULTI: Learn: 10.1.0.6 -> Client802/91.129.98.153

Mon May  9 16:26:27 2022 daemon.notice openvpn(server_vesvpn)[10102]: Client802/91.129.98.153 MULTI: primary virtual IP for Client802/91.129.98.153: 10.1.0.6

How can I get the correct virtual address for client802 (and other clients in future)? What settings should I change?

Or is this some kind of FW bug? If yes, what FW version working?

Hello,

Try updating your devices to the latest firmware version. Firmware files can be downloaded from here:
