Question

Hi

I am using  RUT360 running fw R_00.07.01.4.

I have tested my smtp settings using the event email test feature and this works.

I can also send a test SMS to the required phone number and this works.

I have configured modbus alarms to report via SMS and this works.

However, I have configured received SMS forward to email and this fails with the following error:

Anyone had a similar issue and found a resolution?

This is now working. Turns out I had to enable SMS forwarding and enable Forward SMS Utilities (even if I didn't forward the actual utilities rules).

Could you please share your configuration screenshots?

Since one of the log messages says Phone authorization failed, check if your phone number is allowed in the SMS utilities rule authorization settings.

Just to provide more information on my application, I am trying to forward an SMS triggered through Modbus Master alarm generation from one RUT360 to another RUT360:

RUT360(1) --> Modbus alarm --> action: send SMS --> RUT360(2) --> forward received SMS to Email account.

So I do not need to send an email for any of the SMS Utilities events/actions, just forward received SMS to an email.

So if the action in SMS Utilities was 'Receive SMS', this is what I would use.
