Hi,

My Teltonika device is a MODBUS RTU Master. I want to send register values read by RTU master to a remote server via MQTT protocol. Can you briefly write the steps please? Thanks.

July 1, 2022 - How did you get your Modbus Serial Master work? I have not been able to do that. I am doing the same thing. Getting data from my "slave" rug9 plc to my RUT955 Modbus Serial Master and then send it out via MQTT to my broker (Liquidweb.com). I can't even get the Modbus Serial Master to get data.

I noticed that when you set up the authentication for the MQTT, it deletes the password when you hit save. Not telling if it saved or deleted.

Hello,

Please refer to these wiki pages:

Modbus serial master and MODBUS requests configuration: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Modbus#Modbus_Serial_Master.

MODBUS data to server configuration: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Data_to_Server.

I am asking this for TRB145. Their menus are different. There is no data to server. So can you answer this for trb145 please?

The same settings apply for TRB145. However you might need to download MODBUS Serial Master package, which is found in Services -> Package manager.

Best regards,

Žygimantas
