I have a RUT240 on the latest firmware. I have a use case where the router is mounted in a pelicase with an external 4g/ wifi combo antenna and internal battery supply. The case will remain locked and an external power switch and socket installed.

I already have the LTE status visible on the logon page but for simplicity I would like to have a LED on the exterior of the case to indicate then the router has connected to the Mobile phone network. I am not bothered about signal strength I can get that from the login page if need.

I'm not a coder so, is there a janet and john way I can get the  digital output to chnge state once the router has established a cellular connection?

Hello,

I would suggest using events reporting functionality to configure the router to send an email or SMS message on establishing/loosing mobile data connectivity. You can read more about it in this page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Events_Reporting.

You can also use SMS utilities to enquire information about router's status parameters, including connection state, by sending an SMS containing a certain command. More about SMS utilities: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Mobile_Utilities#SMS_Utilities.

Best regards,
