Hello

can the switch also be used if I don't have a fiber connection.

Does an adapter work on that switch or could I use another port for this purpose.

Thank you

Hello,

Yes, you can change SFP to RJ45 but for this you will need adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-1000BASE-T-Transceiver-Supermicro/dp/B07TXRYJGF or any other SFP 3rd party adapter available for you to purchase.

SFP will provide better speed, but if you want to just use regular ethernet, you can use one of the x8 RJ45 ports for this purpose and you will expand the network.

Best Regards,

Tomas M.
