Hello.

We have a multisite environment. On the main site we have an XTM firewall with two public IPs and on several remote sites we have a RUT950. Is there anyway to set two IPSEC-VPN instances on the RUT950 against the XTM, considering one as main (XTM public IP1) and the other as secondary (XTM public IP2), and automatic failover?.

Best regards,

Oscar.

Hello,

IPsec instances do not create new network interfaces. Due to that, it is not possible to configure failover for IPsec instances. However, in case of one of the IPsec tunnel failure, there should occur a switchover to the other configuration. I recommend to prepare the configuration and test it.
