When registering my Amazon WHD Teltonika RUT240 to rms, I got the error message:
Device with serial 1XXXXXXXX from entry number 1 already exists.

I have also tried to perform the ssh commands from here with no success:

I also send an DM to SarunasKa with this topic.

Hello,

First thing to check is if the device is online, when you attempt to unregister it.

Also, you have to enter the commands with the device you want to unregister.

Best regards,

Hi ZygimantasBliu,

thank you for your reply!

The device was online at the moment, when I performed the ssh commands from this thread:
https://community.teltonika-networks.com/48333/device-with-serial-1105046773-entry-number-already-exists

What do you mean with " you have to enter the commands with the device you want to unregister"
I connected via ssh to the teltonika router and ran the command:

uci set rms_connect_mqtt.rms_connect_mqtt.remove_from_system=1 && uci commit && /etc/init.d/rms_connect restart

But still rms throw the error: "Device with serial 1XXXXXXXX from entry number 1 already exists."

Can you unregister the device, when I send you a photo from the backplate, so you can be sure, that I am the owner of the device?
Your colleague
Sigitas suggested this procedure in the other thread..

Hello,

Make sure the device is online, connect to it via SSH and execute the following command:

  • uci set rms_connect_mqtt.rms_connect_mqtt.remove_from_system=1 && uci commit && /etc/init.d/rms_connect restart

Best regards,
