I would like to delete the event log from the router memory

I am trying to follow this post

On a pc with Win 10 pro, I open a dos shell and type

ssh admin@192.168.1.1

the router responds by asking for the password, I type the password (it does not appear on the screen) then pressing Enter the message appears "Permission denied, please try again"

I am using the same user/password that I use to access the router configuration via http interface

Given the impossibility to log in via ssh, I tried to create a new user on System/UserManagement, in the admin group

But even using this new data the user is not recognized

The question is: to access the router via ssh, which user / password should be used?

(System/Administratio/AccessControl - Enable Ssh access = on)

Hello,

In order to access the device from CLI/SSH, you need to enter the following:

  • ssh root@192.168.1.1
  • <your device's password>

Best regards,
