When I try to send AT commands the router status changes to Timeout and therefore communication with the router is lost.

Hello,

Try rebooting the modem from the WebUI.

It might be that the command(s) you have entered were incorrect. It would help if you shared the commands.

Also, unless you are using a legacy design device, I suggest upgrading the firmware.

Thank you for your reply, I have upgraded to firmware version RUT9_R_00.07.02.1 and no longer have that problem. However I can't query the "eventslog" as in the previous version. The command I was using is as follows:

cd ../log; eventslog -p -d 1 -t EVENTS

Could this problem be solved somehow?

Try using this command:

  • logread
