Firmware: R_00.07.02.1 (RUTX11)

I have configured a Client Mod in 2.4 GHz. But no connection established. Same Network on 5 GHz a connection is established. The Network "KBW5" is configured with WPA2, PSK an CCMP.  Connecting to a 2.4 GHz WLAN without any security (open WIFI)  runs without any problem.

So I think, where is a problem to connect to 2.4 GHz Wifi with security (WPA2, PSK) enabled.

In the log file I found some error messages :

daemon.notice netifd: Network device 'wlan0-1' link is up

daemon.notice wpa_supplicant[3223]: wlan0: SME: Trying to authenticate with e0:63:da:15:be:e9 (SSID='KBW5' freq=2412 MHz)

daemon.notice wpa_supplicant[3223]: wlan0: SME: Authentication request to the driver failed

wlan0: authenticate with e0:63:da:15:be:e9

wlan0: send auth to e0:63:da:15:be:e9 (try 1/3)

kern.info kernel: [  946.470739] wlan0: send auth to e0:63:da:15:be:e9 (try 2/3)

kern.info kernel: [  946.690744] wlan0: authentication with e0:63:da:15:be:e9 timed out

Hello,

Can you tell me which firmware version you are using? Maybe you should update it to the latest version and the problem will be solved. For this, you can download the latest firmware (7.02.1) this way:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Firmware_Downloads

and upload the image via System→Firmware.

Hey,

For this last log.

daemon.notice wpa_supplicant[3223]: wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=0 ssid="KBW5" auth_failures=1 duration=10 reason=CONN_FAILED

It seems that you have issues with authentication. You tell me that you configured the 2.4GHz network as a client. What are you trying to connect to as a client? Can you check the password or authentication method of the other device?

Can you send me the troubleshooting file of the device? You can get it from System→Administration→Troubleshoot. And send it by private message if you like
