Hi, I have loaded the latest firmware to RUT950 and it doesn't boot anymore. All LAN leds are on (even without any cable connected) and mobile signal strength leds are off. Anyone faced the same problem?

I have done all the routine activities in such cases (reset, etc) and it doesn't help.

Hello,

Which firmware version have you upgraded from?

Also, do you know what is your device product code?

To reset the device you should try the bootloader procedure. The steps to perform the procedure are provided in this site: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu.

Also, before the procedure download the latest legacy firmware file from here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_Firmware_Downloads_(legacy_WebUI).

I upgraded from RUT9_R_00.07.02 to RUT9_R_00.07.02.1.

So, as mentioned above, try resetting the device following the instructions for bootloader procedure and see if the router becomes responsive again.

The procedure with bootloader works and the router is alive, but when I upgrade to RUT9_R_00.07.02 (which worked very stable since May) I can't log-in to the device - it freezes on log-in screen. Is there a chance that this is a HW problem?

A couple of thing to do:

When updating, make sure you set the Keep settings option to off.

Could you login to the device via SSH/CLI and post the output of the following command:

  • hexdump -C /dev/mtd1

Switching off Keep settings changes nothing - still freezing

Hexdump:

After bootloader procedure there is no information about the device. Is it normal?

Hello,

It is not normal. I will need to access your device remotely. For more details I will send you a personal message.

Best regards,
