I have a RUT240 modem with fw 00.01.06.1. I have no problem reading modbus registers but I cannot write any register. I'm trying to do so using "modscan" program <https://www.win-tech.com/html/modscan32.htm> but everytime it says me "timeout"... someone can help me?

Hi,

What exactly you want to make?  Which parameter you want to set?

All available Modbus commands:

Hi, it will be great if the I/O pins will be accessible via ModBus command....

Someone know if Teltonika integrate this feature in the next releases of the firmware?

EDIT: I saw for the RUT950/955 it's already available https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/Monitoring_via_Modbus

Hi,

I would like to switch wifi on / off (register 210) and (less important) change APN. But everytime I try to access to register 210 or 211 or 213 or 220 I have message "Modbus message time-out"

Hello everyone,

Did someone know if it is possible to switch the I/O Pins via ModBus?

Best regards, Marco

Hi Federico,

Have you tried to switch to function 04, read input register or function 01, read coil status?

Ciao, Marco

Hi Marco,

thanks for your answer. Yes, I already tried to use function 01 and 04 but I always have the same error.

Identical problem for me, I can't write the parameter 210 modbus tcp of a Rut900 to deactivate / activate wifi but I can read the other registers. Has anyone managed to write register 210?

 Rut900 FW ver .: RUT9XX_R_00.06.05.3

Hello Federico, I had your same problem with a rut900, I could only read the logs.

I solved it by installing an old firmware, you should try it too.

I have solved the problem. These registers (coil registers) are impossible to read, it is only possible to write. So, I can write 1 or 0 and the modem switch wifi on / off, but I'm not able to know if wifi is enabled or disabled because the register is write-only.
