Hi all,

I recently upgraded my firmware from RUT9XX_R_00.00.04 to RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6

I now can no longer access the device Bootloader web interface and all the lan ports are flashing green

The device looks bricked, the install reached 100% and I left it for another hour before refreshing or turning off the device

Is my device too old to have the latest firmware?

Batch no: 0002

Hello,

Could you name the device model you have?

It is likely that you have a legacy design device, which is not upgradeable to the latest revision, though you should have no problem updating to RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6. Yet, if the device is inaccessible via bootloader menu, there is not much else that can be done to restore its functionality.

Best regards,

Is there no way of flashing the firmware?

Hello,

If holding Reset button for 12 - 20 seconds (Restores default device configuration) does not help and if you have followed bootloader recovery procedure described here, unfortunately, the device is bricked and should be returned.

Best regards,
