What is the recommended way to read RUT955 hardware revision programmatically (i.e. from a custom program running on the device itself)?

I found the file /etc/config/hwinfo which contains the revision information on one line (e.g. option hwver '1610') but is there any better and firmware-version-compatible way to get it than parsing that file?

Hello,

Please check the answer in the following thread: https://community.teltonika-networks.com/49543/where-hardware-revision-batch-number-coming-from-device-list.

Thanks!

But those mnf_info switches (-b -H) don't work in old firmware 06.05.3, instead must use batch hwver. Didn't test yet if those old ones work in new firmware, to be version compatible...
