Hello! In this summer I have experienced that RUTX-11 has stopped internet traffic when the summer heat is very high, and the temperature of the aluminium case was high, too. For industrial cellular router is npormal? what is the max. air temperature for normal function?

Operating conditions

• Operating temperature: -40° to +75° Celsius
• Humidity should be in the range of 10% to 90% (non-condensing). Only use the device in dry environments.
• Out of direct sunlight
• Away from heat source
• Away from corrosive substances, salts and flammable gases

Attention: operation outside the permissible range can considerably shorten the service life of the device.

Hello,

The device is rated to operate within temperature range from -40 to +75 C.

However, each use case is individual. Under certain load in increased heat environments the router might draw more current, which in itself increases the temperature of the device and eventually might lead to undesired operating disturbances as Teltonika routers do not employ active cooling solutions.

Another case would be if the router is stored in a small cabinet. The router might increase the temperature within the cabinet, which would lead to device heating and so on.
