Hi, I have a router that keeps doing a group of various events which causes it to disconnect for 20 mins and reconnect to the network. Starts with an IP Block and goes through Switch events.
Connected with a data SIM card, antennas and signal are good, LAN 1 port is used.

Does any have an idea of what this means and why?

Hello,

IP block is an event generated by you or any other user simply trying to log in to the router. It monitors failed login attempts to block unauthorized access in case a number of login attempts is exceeded.

Switch events indicate state, speed, duplex mode negotiations between connected devices, used ports.

None of these should influence mobile connectivity.

I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration > Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.

Best regards,

Hello,

There are a couple of disconnects in the logs, which appear to happen randomly, yet none of them seem to be longer than 30 seconds.

You have an auto reboot configured, which checks connectivity by pinging a private IP address and periodic operctl reboot. Are those necessary?

Could you try to create a backup of your current configuration and perform a factory defaults restore, to check if that solves your issue?

You can also try to perform device firmware update. For instructions check this thread: https://community.teltonika-networks.com/49201/rut955-after-update-to-00-07-02-1-mobile-disconnected?show=49201#q49201.

Your modem ID is 1-1.4 and latest firmware should be EC25EUGAR08A01M4G.

Best regards,
