Hello,

We have some RUT 950 routers that, after an automatic reboot, sometimes do not start 4G/3G correctly or the services that exist on the router to start communication, sometimes it takes a few hours to start, this does not always happen.

We have configured the periodic reboot because this router sometimes blocks for no apparent reason, this seems to be a problem with the model/product itself.

Your model RUT 950 with the power in jack format has this problem a lot, the most updated version already seems to be more stable.

I needed to know if this type of situation is a bug that you are aware of and is related to a board limitation and if there is any solution that solves the problem, the fw is already in the latest available.

I will give you all the information that i have
This device is in production site remote, I have access to them remotely.
We have installed 4G/3G card with unlimited traffic with public fixed IP and i know when it's drop when i lose connection to the IP.
We have the info in Access Point plataform that we have connected to them and know when is good or not, today they do the reboot at 3:00 am and 04:28 hour loose connection, and communicated again at 12:2, but yesterday it was 24 hours without communicating.

I´m not sure if it´s problem with some services hang up or other issues with modem, because that we have the reboot periodic at 03:00 am to solve temporaraly
We have the 3 models RTU950 LT3 with AC/DC in jack format, we have the RTU950 4 Pin and i new device RUTX09 installed in many sites, and the most old is more unstable

From the data you have provided, the first thing I can suggest is to try and update device firmware and see if that improves stability.

Hello,

What version currently does your device run on? 

What are the product codes of the devices in question? You can view it in Status -> System section.

Have you tried to configure modem reboot, not the complete router reboot to try to recover mobile connectivity?

What are the services, which do not start, or start after a long while? 

What do you mean by “router sometimes blocks“, do you lose WebUI/SSH access? Is it remote or LAN access?

Could you replicate your issues and attach a troubleshoot file to your question. To generate the file, access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.

At the moment i don´tt have connection to router it's very unstable
