Question

Hello!

After update RUTX09 on firmware RUTX_R_00.07.02 or above my mobile internet stops working, if i roll back to an earlier firmware, then the mobile Internet starts working. Internal modem firmware version EG06ELAR03A05M4G.

If I try to update the modem I get an error:

Wonderful. I was able to start the update process, but now RUTX09 does not see the modem at all.

[ERROR] Not sure what flasher to use. Exiting..     

Is there a way to get the firmware and install it manually?

I found the official firmware EG06ELAR04A08M4G and installed it manually. But the modem still does not want to connect to the operator.

Thank you for contacting us.

It would be great if you could replicate the issue, then access the router's WebUI, go to SYSTEM > ADMINISTRATION > TROUBLESHOOT section, download troubleshoot file from there and send it to me.

Logs in this file will help to answer what causes this issue.

From the error, it seems the issue could be missing hardware information in routers flash memory, when I have the troubleshoot file I will be able to tell it with more detail

After the next rollback to 7.01.2 and back to 7.02.4, the modem connected to the operator.

In the end what I did:

1) Updated to 7.02.4 (without saving settings)

2) Manually updated the modem by downloading the EG06ELAR04A08M4G firmware in advance (https://forums.quectel.com/t/where-to-get-firmware-eg06elar04a08m4g/15779)

3) Rolled back to 7.01.2 (without saving settings)

4) Updated to 7.02.4 (without saving settings)

It all looks more like a puzzle
