Hi!

Not really a question, probably a solution (and maybe a bug in the new firmware?).

All our RUT240 are connected via Mobile, except one which is connected via our
customers Wifi. . Yesterday I upgraded all of the routers from firmware
01.14.5 to 07.02.4 and the one on Wifi didn't allow the device behind it to
access the internet any more. No DNS lookups, no ping, and no outgoing ssh/scp.

I was however able to access the router and the device behind it via RMS.

The solution I found was to manually add the interface WWAN to the firewall zone
WAN. That worked.

With best regards

Runner

Hello,

It is possible that in the firmware change the configuration was not replicated properly. When you make the configuration from scratch in the new firmware, you usually assign the new interface to the WAN zone of the firewall at once. Anyway thanks for the review and advice.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. But the router is "far away" :-)
A four hours drive, so no! I'm glad I could solve it via RMS.

Awesome system those Teltonika guys came up with.
