I'm running wireguard to connect two RUT240s using an Ubuntu cloud server also running Wireguard.

I have the connections working OK and routing traffic correctly, but everytime I reboot the RUT240, the connection loses sync. If I restart networking, (/etc/init.d/networking restart) the connection is re-established for a few seconds and then fails again. The only way I've found to get it to reliably re-connect is to change the listening port on the RUT240. The connection then instantly re-syncs and stays synced until the next reboot.

I've attached a troubleshooting file if that helps.

FW version is: RUT2_R_00.07.02.2

Thanks for any assistance.

Regards,

David.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

The troubleshoot file is not attached.

I would like you to try the suggestion in another thread: https://community.teltonika-networks.com/48874/software-rut9_r_00-rut9_r_00-forwarding-wireguard-packets?show=48874#q48874

Best regards,

Thank you, that seems to be an effective work around.
