We have several sources on our LAN (wired and wireless) that are multicast and in the past, they have saturated out network and caused issues.

on our current router, we enable version 3 IGMP snooping so the packets only go to the IP addresses requesting the data.

can this option be implemented on the RUTx11?

Hello,

RUT devices support igmpproxy utility for receiving multicast traffic. The package can be installed from Services -> Package manager list, more about the service itself is provided here.

Best regards,

Okay, thank you. Is there a way to monitor the multicast traffic to determine if it is overloading the router/switch?
