Hi,

we are using  a RUT955 for sending SMS from an Software (SBC Supervisor). Sometimes the SMS are not delivered and then the Web UI is not working after you try to log in (stuck at "LOADING...").

We tried the firmeware 00.07.01.4 - 00.07.02.5 without an effect. The behavior is the same.

The syslog is full with messages like this: 

Thu Aug 18 14:13:13 2022 daemon.info gsmd[3404]: gsmd[dispatch_queue_work():914]: Modem 1-1.4 is not responding for over 500 seconds. Current request is cancelled.

Thu Aug 18 14:15:42 2022 daemon.err vuci[2695]: Failed to invoke a gsmd object method

Any ideas?

Hello,

The complete troubleshoot file might provide details into the issue, however, from the message you have provided, it is clear that the modem is not responsive. This probably indicates the hardware issue, and you should send the device for warranty repair.

One thing you can try is to upgrade the modem firmware. You can find instructions in this post. Keep in mind that modem ID in your case is 1-1.4 and the modem firmware version will also differ.
