Hello,

my new RUTX14 does not get a GPS signal. The web ui tells, there is no GPS data. I connected to the device over ssh to check the situation. The output is attached as screenshot.

I installed the firmware before, but the issue is the same. So back to the latest firmware, but no change.

Do you have any hints what I can so further?

Best regards

I sent back the router and received another one: no problem with GPS. The hardware was defective.

Hello,

Does the WebUI specifically display message "no GPS data" or "No GPS signal"?

Do you already have gpsd process enabled? Check with ps | grep gpsd command.

Have you tried to get the GPS antenna outside to provide a clear view of the sky for better signal reception?

Best regards,

Hi,

there is no gps data because the gpsd is not running. As you can see with the snapshot, I cannot start gpsd even manually. In webui all gps is activated.

Regarding the antennas: I tried two with clear view. But as the process fails, these are not the issue.
