Hello,

During a product development, the Teltonika RUT240 was chosen to be part of our product. The RUT240 should give the ability to connect to the product.

We've noticed that the RMS SSH links created with a duration of a several months, are getting broken after several days. The links are broken. We got the following message:

"Error: Error reading SSH protocol banner

Connection is not active anymore. Connection Reset By Peer"

I saw that the link has a warning symbol next to it saying that the connection is not active anymore and that I should press the reconnect button. After pressing the reconnect button, the link is active again but how can I send an unstable link to the customer?

Can you check the option to automatically wake up a disconnected link?

I saw that after power reset to the router, the link getting broken.

Can a static IP SIM prevent the link from getting broken?

I saw a previous discussion about the same issue without any solution:

https://community.teltonika-networks.com/31103/why-connect-links-disappear-before-date-when-generated-them

Btw, the firmware is updated.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thanks,

Eran

Hello,
Links breaking down after the device being rebooted is just how RMS works. That is one of the reasons why the feature to reactivate the links was introduced.
Unfortunately, to reactivate links automatically is not possible. This is a design choice due to some security concerns.
