Hi,

We have about 150 RUT240's deployed using mobile data. They all connect to our L2TP management VPN.

When there are network issues in the area, the L2TP session drops and then respawns, but the router doesn't kill the old session.

We are getting to the point where there are so many L2TP interfaces spawned that the router memory is filling up and crashing (e.g. 20-30 instances).

Is it possible this is a configuration issue? Or a firmware issue?

Most of our routers are on 7.02.04, and a few are now on 7.02.07.

Thanks,

Tony

Hello,

Could you send a couple of troubleshoot files from the devices where the issue occurs, preferably with the 7.02.07 firmware to investigate? You can either attach the files by editing your question or by sending them to me in a personal message.

Please, replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration > Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.

Files are private and visible only to Teltonika Moderators.

Best regards,
