Hello,

I would like to create an RS232 link between 2 devices. I have set up an IPSEC vpn between the lan of each RUT955.
The port for the RS232 link is 5004.

I have not yet created any specific rules in the firewalls.
but the ping is ok between each lan.

The routing and filtering rules are created automatically when the ipsec is created?

I would like to :

  1. check the routing
  2. allow port 5004 in the ipsec vpn
  3. block all other flows

Warm regards,

Hi,

Initially, rules and routes are created automatically. Opening the necessary ports can be done in the Firewall - Traffic rules section. https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firewall#Traffic_Rules

When configuring RS232, the specified port is automatically added to the settings. The remaining ports work according to the principle: Everything that is not allowed is prohibited.

You can see all routes in the CLI with the route -n command.

Best regards, Anton
