I've been looking through multiple threads and so far have not been able to get this to work. VDSL here is PPPoE with VLAN 10, 802.1Q, bridged from a Netcomm VDSL modem. The same connection setup works fine using a Mikrotik router, which is what I am posting from right now.

I have tried creating an eth1.10 interface with VLAN tag to use as the PPPoE device, and I have also tried using eth1 with the VLAN tagging directly in the PPPoE configuration (annoyingly the GUI only allows tags 0-7, so I used uci to set it). The physical port is seeing packets, but pppd does not, and the connection does not come up.

I have TCR100 firmware 7.02.7.

Is there any way to get a packet trace directly off the device? There is no tcpdump. :-(

Hi,

Kindly check the below link, which tells that TCPdump is available from packages:

TCR100 Package Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

How to install TCPdump:

From CLI:

#opkg update

#opkg install tcpdump
