Question

Hello,

I am trying to get data from a Seko 800 via modbus RTU. I did install the modbus serial master, and followed the config instructions on this link:

However all I get is the follwoing error when trying to test.
"No response from slave device, check wiring and configuration"

I have attached screenshots of the configs. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hello All,

I was able to get the devices to talk, so just wanted to note it for anyone having any similar struggles. The wiring was as per the Fogwing link.

The trick was in config, what worked in the end was as follows:

Baud rate:19200, Data Bit: 8, Parity: Even, Stop bits: 1, Flow control: None, Full Duplex: Off

Hi,

Please the rs485 wiring connection, if they are properly configured. It should be like this:

Please share the Modbus addressing scheme via PM and also try to change the function to "Read holding register(3)" on Modbus serial master and try again.
