The “wireguard server” is a Ubuntu vps and the “router” is a teltonika rut955.

the wireguard tunnel works, e.g. the routing seems to work, but i can only ping and nothing else. e.g. from my client i am able to ping the wireguard interfaces of the server and the router AND clients within the router subnet. but i am not able to access a web server running within the routers subnet. for example the router itself.

I have searched though the forum and found that I need to accept traffic within the rut955 firewall from lan to wireguard and wireguard to lan. I have tried that without success.

I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration > Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.
