Hello,

Kindly can you provide more information?

- Which port is the smart sensor is communicating to the cloud?

- What configuration is needed to make the sensor to communicate to the cloud?

- What configuration did you make on the previous router?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I have no idea about comminication port, protocol and configuration is needed yet. I went to my old simple router (without firewall function) back, and everything works again.

So in my understanding

- first all traffic needs to open to make sure firewall causes the problem,

- then to know port and protocol using eg. lan analyzer

- then to open that specific port, protocol finally.

Question how to open firewall for all traffic in both direction for test only?

Hello,

Yes, you can open all ports in your router. First you have to reach your router’s WebUI.

1- go to Network -> Firewall -> Traffic rules

2- Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a section "Add new instance". Here you need to select an instance type as Open ports on router, enter any name, choose the transport protocol and enter the port range 0 – 65535.

3- Finally, press Add. A configuration window will open where you can specify more details regarding the rule: source, destination IP and MAC addresses, action to be carried out. Once the rule is saved, and press Save & apply.

Kindly check the link for more details: Open Ports on Router

OR you can approach this one by using DMZ: DMZ
