Hi on MS Teams calls sometimes Zoom as well, after about 15mins we get the mobile connection disconnect. This seems to affect RUTx14 only,

The teams calls are good quality and never show any signs of poor connection.

We dont seem to get the issue on the rut950 or the rut955 -

We have alot of the RUTx14 out and about and we are getting this issue alot - We have tried DNS 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 - We have also tried traffic shaping - reducing the throuput. Multiple carriers.

The connection is solid  - and the Teams call barely touches the side of the 50mb down and 25mb up connection.

The connection never drops in normal use which will include video streaming.

We also notice it takes a 5 - 10 mins for the connection to come back.

Happy to provide logs

FW Version RUTX_R_00.07.02.6

Hello,

I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue, wait for the Teams/Zoom call to disconnect, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration > Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.

Best regards,

I would like you to perform a modem module firmware update and see if that helps to solve the issue.

For instructions, please refer to one of the previous threads in this link.

Hi We have applide the update to a router locally, and so far so good. we have run three test meetings and the connection appears to bo holding.

We have a few of these units all over the country - Is there a way to apply the modem update remotly.

Kind regards

Unfortunately, modem update requires the router to have an alternative WAN source, as the mobile connectivity is lost during update.
