Unstable WWAN (4G) on RUTX12 - is this an operator issue or hardware error?

Hi,

I have a RUTX12 with 2 SIM cards running 24/7 for 2 weeks now (two different operators). The second modem sometimes stays online for 1-2 days, and then needs to reconnect every few hours before running stable again for a day or two. Both modems have similar good signal (-51dBm).

I just wonder if this is an operator thing or if it seems to be a hardware issue? I only have remote access for now, so I cannot switch the SIM cards to test... What does "Unsolicited id" in the log mean? Thanks for any hints!

Hello,

It is visible that the modem looses connection and then reconnects, however, a complete troubleshoot file would provide more insight into modem state, device details and configuration, which would allow to find the cause or suggest a solution.

Another issue on that second modem: I also found that the wwan1 interface got a new SNMP OID, its state used to be 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.11, now it is 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.23? This makes monitoring a little challenging...
