Is it possible to, if some rut240 or other 4G modems meet close, they interconnect to each other? And network clients on the different RUTs will be discoverable to each other.

Some may say now, create a VPN, but sometimes 4G is not reliable, fast and costly, so would prefere to directly interconnect the devices.

Hello,

how far are the client devices from each other?

Do you want wired or wireless connectivity?

If you are considering a wired interconnection of devices, why not use a simple unmanaged switch?

If you want to connect devices wirelessly, using more than one RUT device, please check a couple of configuration examples below:
Wireless mesh configuration: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Wireless_Mesh_configuration_example.

DHCP relay configuration: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTOS_relay_/_Wi-Fi_extender_/_repeater_/_bridge_configuration.

Best regards,

Thank you for some hidden hints ;-)

The devices (Rut240) will be several meters next to each other, and alle have a own sim card, but should interconnect when close together.

so i may configure alls Rut240 to mesh clients, and when they find a mesh router, the will interconnect?

if no mesh router is found, they wiull use their onw 4G service?
