After having tried unsuccessfully to use Zero Tier to remotely connect to the network behind the RUT240, I moved to use remote.it.
Being compatible with OpenWRT, I proceeded with the installation of the agent on the RUT240 and configured the Windows client on my pc.
I have successfully got connections to several services available on the network behind the RUT240: connection to an MQTT server, VNC connection to an headless Raspi and to the RUT240 web GUI.
I am having issues connecting to a web server running on the Raspi; the connection starts, but instead of landing on the Raspi webserver, it lands on the RUT240 web GUI.
Is there anyone with a clue, please? Should I define port forwarding or something similar?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

Yes, define a port forwarding rule on the RUT, for ex 10080 => address of the pi:80 and so on.

Thanks for answering my request, unfortunately I defined the port forwarding as you suggest, but the behavior is still the same. I point to the new port number and it always lands on the router web gui page.

Four fields to set, in this order:

  1. a name for the rule: pihttp
  2. external port: 10080
  3. internal ip address: ip address of the pi
  4. internal port: 80

should work, if it doesn't there must be a higher priority rule somewhere.

Exactly what I have made.
I am going to look for higher priority rule, but the rules are the fabric default ones.
