Hi,

FW RUT9XX_R_00.06.04.5.

The SMS settings have not been touched. I sent a status request via "password status" function, received correct status response. Then I sent "incorrectpassword status" and received a status response even though the password was wrong.

I am now receiving a status sms randomly. Maybe every few, several hours.

Could anybody explain what is going on, and how I can remedy this please.

Thank you for contacting Teltonika Networks Crowd support.

Please upgrade your router to the latest firmware version RUT9_R_00.07.02.7.

Since you are using quite an old firmware, the fastest way to achieve it is by updating to the latest legacy version using this firmware image and updating via bootloader menu, for which instructions are provided here. Then you will be able to update to the latest RutOS version. 

On sms utilities, make sure the authorization is well set. Either by no Authorization, by serial, by router admin password.
