I am trying to send Niagara Supervisor alarms as SMS through RUT955.

However, I have no idea how to get it started.

We are currently looking into Tridium Niagra driver integration for our devices, however, there is nothing substantial has yet achieved. Maybe if you could provide detailed information on how this systems works or other devices, we might  be able to help you integrate the same things easily on our devices

Basically our request is simple, routing all alarms from the ALARM CLASS to the SMS Recipient to send out SMS through Teltonika Routers. The challenge is that there is no easy way of sending SMS directly from Niagara.

As I do not really know how the driver works, here are some suggestions from my side:

Is there the possibility to execute CLI command or http request using the driver?

If yes, the you can simply use ssh/cli so execute command: gsmctl -S -s "00<phone number> <text, spaces allowed>"

That is quite simple if it is possible, another way using the HTTP request would be like this:

• Go to WebUI -> Services -> Mobile Utilities -> SMS gateway -> Post/Get
• Enable it
• Enter desired credentials
• Use the link http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/sms_send?username=user1&password=user_pass&number=0037060000001&text=testmessage

If you need to use symbols or spaces, please find the table for how they should be writen here, as spaces in the text would be replaced by %20 for example.
