The issue might be that the quota limit service, responsible for mobile data limit tracking, relies on another service's, mdcollect, ubus method that returns the amount of data used in a day, month or week before the current moment, while the quota must be calculated from a certain hour/day/month specified in the configuration until the current moment.
This has been addressed and should be solved with the 7.3 firmware release.
