Hello,

I apologize in advance if this question has been asked previously, however I'm unable to determine the correct setup and have tried numerous settings to get this to work. I am trying to allow web and telnet access to a LAN side device with both Telnet and HTTP(S) from the WAN. My LAN device has a static IP of 192.168.1.5 and I've used RMS and created those connections through RMS connect but they never do connect. I have also gone into the web interface of the RUT240 via the Device Web UI and created port forwarding rules but can't seem to make it work. Any help is appreciated.

Regards

Hello,

Please check the videos below:

Remote HTTP(S) access: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83cg9oKMm2E

Remote Telnet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Syav3rcfec

RMS VPN HUB: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfAudZR2wPY

Keep in mind that Auto scan feature might not detect your device and you may need to configure it manually.

As for port forwarding, you must have a Public IP and that might not be your case.

Also, if you have set up a static IP for the local device, make sure it has a gateway address of RUT240 LAN IP.

Best regards,
