Concerning RUT955, TRB145 and TRB245

We develop our own FW using Teltonkia SDK and flash via command line using sysupgrade.  All working fine.

But when programming lots of devices the work is very time consuming as we have to wait for devices to boot up enough for SSH to work and then there is the network faffing with all devices of same family using same initial IP address, so can't program multiple modems on a single network, and different families with different IP addresses for who knows what reason.

Are there any ways to speed up programming of lots of devices? maybe with JTAG or other hardware connector on the boards?

Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done to speed up the process.

You can try using bootloader to upload firmware. For instructions here. 

As for additional connectors, each board has UART pins. However, in order to access the connector, you need to remove the housing of the device.
