In a Teltonika webinar from last year, @Tomas Mikolaitis mentioned a "RMS VPN Client for PC" that would be autoconfigured by the RMS VPN Hub.

See here: https://youtu.be/LSW8A1woQtU?t=1229

Does that RMS VPN Client now exist, a year leter?

Thanks

Dan

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Teltonika Networks Crowd Support community.

RMS VPN hub is based on the OpenVPN.

During the RMS VPN hub you will need to add clients into the VPN. The clients in this case will be the devices that will be interconnected using the VPN and either the RMS users or a custom user that you wish to add.

After adding the user – RMS user/custom user, you will have the option of downloading the OpenVPN configuration file.  Check this link https://openvpn.net/community-downloads/ and download the OpenVPN client, open the OpenVPN client and import the configuration file you downloaded from RMS. If all the configurations are okay, you should be able to reach other RMS VPN clients or network devices. Please check this link for more information https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/VPN_Hubs

Please note that Teltonika does not have a dedicated RMS vpn client for OpenVPN.

For more technical support or clarification, please do not hesitate to get back to us.

Kind regards,

Shadrack

Thanks Shadrack,

In the webinar video I mentioned above, Tomas, the presentator, mentioned that Teltonika is going to provide an own VPN client which would be automatically configured. Similar to the Teltonika devices.

I got an answer in the Youtube question I asked as well. Seems Teltokika is still developing that client.

Anyway, I am happy to use the OpenVPN Connect client until then.
