Question

In the TRB140 WebGUI, one can use/configure/apply "Configuration Profiles". This is a great function and very useful.

As we are using RMS, the question came up if we could switch configuration profiles  for devices from RMS as well? Is this possible? If yes, how can we do that?

We're glad you're enjoying the product!

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no possibility to switch the profile in the RMS directly (it could be changed by logging into WebUI).

However, as an alternative, the profile can be changed using an SMS message, UCI commands (shell), or JSON-RPC requests.

I cannot see any command in UCI that deals with profiles. Same with JSON-RPS.

SMS is well documented and is clear to me, though.

Hello,

Sorry, I seem to have mixed up the commands for legacy and current firmware. Changing the profile via UCI should be possible, however, I cannot find a solution for that at the moment. If I figure it out, I'll let you know.
